Raphael Bauer de Lima

A professional with more than 25 years of experience in the insurance sector, Raphael Bauer has
training in Business Administration, MBA in Strategic Marketing, certification
International in LOMA (Life Office Management Association) and Postgraduate in Management of
Risks with international RIMAP certification (Risk Management Professional).
Operating in eleven Brazilian states, it has expertise in the commercial management of the branches of
Life, Pensions. At MAPFRE, Raphael Bauer has worked for the Territorial Directorate of Minas Gerais; in Spain for six years as Director of Business Insurance Development and Brokers Channel, in addition to having held the position of CEO – Chief Executive Officer – at MAPFRE ATLAS, in Ecuador. During his management, MAPFRE ATLAS was listed among the ten best companies to work for in the Ecuadorian market and received a triple AAA rating by the Class International Rating agency.
Currently, Raphael Bauer is General Commercial Director of MAPFRE Brasil, being responsible for
for the entire national commercial strategy of the Group in the country.
